Library Offerings

Our library offers a broad range of events and activities, and an extensive collection of books, audio tapes and videos, updated weekly.

We offer a Music Series throughout the year and a rotating Art Show in our gallery area. The Peabody Memorial Library activities are a collaborative effort between the Board of Trustees and:

- Friends of the Library

- Jonesport Historical Society

- Arts in the Library

- Music in the Library

We are pleased to announce that our library catalog is now available online!  

Each patron will now be required to sign up for a new library card which will allow them to access their library account online, make any changes or updates to their account, reserve books, renew books, submit book reviews and more!

All children age 0-5 who register will receive a free hard cover book shipped directly to their home once a month thanks to Literacy Volunteers of Washington County.
